On June 12th the Floreat girls had the pleasure of making floral arrangements for the McGrath Foundation’s cocktail fundraiser, A Light Affair, helping to raise much needed funds to support existing and new McGrath Foundation breast care nurses throughout Australia.
From what is arguably one of the best views in Sydney - the top floor of the AMP building - guests could enjoy the night, open their wallets for a good cause all while taking in the vibrant lights of the Vivid Festival.
The florals were themed to match the McGrath Foundations colours (pink and purple) with a touch of gold.
Staying true to Floreat's eclectic style we did a fun mix of burgundy, pink and purple tulips and sweet peas, with softer pink anthuriums, orchids, king proteas and neon dried amaranthus.
The gold glam came from sprayed Phalaenopsis Orchids and palm leaves and the best little brass vases which sat atop the cocktail tables.
What a pleasure it was to be a part of a cause so close to our hearts.
