Valentine's date night hot spots in Sydney

by Jane Lampe |

What a perfect day for Valentine's Day this year on a Friday - perfect date night!! Here are a few hot spots we can suggest!

Famelia, Enmore Road Newtown

For wine lovers in the inner west, Famelia is the perfect place. Famelia's owner Amelia features women wine makers, women-led wineries, and the bar is a beautiful, ambient space with gorgeous nibbles to go with the wine, and amazing staff.

Jane, Surry Hills

Another ambient venue in Surry Hills, the food at Jane is delicious (Also it has a great name :))! And I love the interiors - quite 70s and cool. It looks like they are booked out for dinner, but they have just released tables for lunch!

Four Pillars Laboratory

Covering all bases here - wine, food, and now gin!! You can't get better than Four Pillars for gin - the do amazing cocktails, or just go with my favourite, with the rare dry gin.

This week Jura whiskey gin has taken over the lab, and they have created a special line-up of whisky drinks to celebrate.

Genzo

For Japanese lovers on the north side, this is the place to go!

Inspired by the neon-lit streets of Japan, Genzo is where the vibrant pulse of Tokyo meets the eclectic energy of North Sydney. From the moment you step through their doors, you'll be embraced by an atmosphere that's both electric and alluring, with our moody ambiance setting the stage for an unforgettable evening of culinary exploration.

As well as amazing Japanese food, they have flights of Sake, Japanese wine, and beer.

Centennial Park

Why not just take a picnic to the park. Speaking from experience, the park is literally empty on Friday nights, and there is still plenty of light to have an early picnic dinner, a stroll through the gardens, and maybe adjourn to the Centennial for a drink after the sun has gone down.
