The lovely Kim & Mitch were married at quite possibly the most picturesque wedding venue there is – Merribee at Numbaa on the NSW South Coast.
At Merribee there is a barn (where the reception took place), manicured gardens and lawns surrounding it (for the ceremony), and accommodation in small cabins for the wedding party to so conveniently stay on site.
We were so happy with the beautiful bouquets and table arrangements, but our favourite element would have to be the hanging features made with Floreat’s own steal ball structures. One was placed outside above the dance floor (a bit like a floral disco ball), and the other in the centre of the barn for guests to enjoy during the reception meal.
The Floreat team are always asking each other which flower “made it” – that is, which flower was so excellent that it made the arrangement even more beautiful? Although Pampas grass isn’t flowering at it’s best in December, we knew our beautiful bride Kim was keen to have it, and we’re so glad we were able to source it at the eleventh hour, because it really did “make it”!
It was an extra special job for Jane, who used to work with Kim in her previous life as a town planner.
Congratulations Kim and Mitch, this was a beautiful wedding to work on.
