Spring is by far the most beautiful time of the year for flowers, with so many different, and beautiful, flowers blooming!
Blossoms, ranunculus, anenomes, sweet peas, daffodils, not to mention all the gorgeous native wildflowers!
So why not put all these gorgeous flowers on show, and celebrate spring by decorating your event, whether it be a wedding, birthday, or just a "why not" lunch or dinner, with the beauty nature has to offer this time of year!
Here are a few styling ideas to get the ball rolling.
Bright and fresh spring
Why not celebrate spring, and the brightness of the weather, with brightness in flowers! There are so many bright flowers around this time of year, mix them all up in fun vases, and place them down the tables.
Or create some drama with bright bunches, interspersed with tall vases of foliage or blossoms!
All white or pretty pastels
It doesn't have to be all bright - try all white, or softer pastels!
These colours look beautiful presented in a "wildflower" vibe - with little bud vases, or wild arrangements.
Or go for a more classic look, with flowers en masse, clustered in gorgeous ceramic bowls.
Native
The native flowers are really in their element this time of year, and the wildflower look is my favourite way of arranging them. Create a purely native wildflower look with flannel flowers, paper daisies, geraldton wax, kangaroo paws, eriostimen, and other field-like flowers. They look best in smaller vases.
Just mix it up
Probably my favourite - where there are no rules, colour, flower type, or otherwise! Mix colour with whites and pastels, natives with more classic flowers.
Little bud vases also show off each little bloom to perfection.
You can even create more of a moody look with darker colours, mixed with white, and adding pillar candles.
