Floreat Loves : Top Ten of the Week : 30 August 2019

by Jane Lampe |

Thank God it's Friday!!! To celebrate, here are 10 posts from the gram that have inspired us this week at Floreat!

  1. Inzoooo

I love Sydney Florist Inz from Potts Point based florist Poho's page - she makes the most beautiful arrangements out of things so simple. I would never have thought to use dandelion flowers for something like this - but isn't it unreal! Not to mention the vase..

  1. Jumbled

The gorgeous Kezz Brett was in at Jumbled, Orange today doing a LIVE painting. Jumbled are going to sell it and donated the proceeds to three cafes around rural NSW to shout farmers a coffee or two, or three!

I think this is the most amazing idea, and it's got me thinking about ways we can try and do something similar at Floreat. Life is pretty tough for our country friends at the moment, and while we can't make it rain, sometimes its the little things like a cup of coffee and a good chat that can take a bit of the load off and make someone's day.

Pip, you are so amazing and always inspiring to me, and Kezz I can't wait to see what you create today xx

  1. Trille Floral

Trille Floral revealed this AMAZING shoot she contributed to for wedding blog Wedding Sparrow this week.

Amazing clouds of candy pink, this is simply stunning and so different to your usually wedding. We LOVE this!!

Amazing photos by Lilli Kad Photography at Somerley House.

  1. Lewis Miller Design

Flower flash king Lewis Miller posted this amazing photo of forget me nots with this bright green fire hydrant in New York. While I LOVE forget me nots, I really love this blue and green together!!

  1. Putnam Flowers

I have to say I'm a bit of a fan of herbs and other cottage plants in terracotta pots for an event, so I loved seeing this beautiful styling by Putnam Flowers and Colleen Kennedy Cohen, for Gwyneth Paltrow and Brad Falchuk's wedding a year ago this week!

  1. ACME

Good to see we aren't the only ones who are inspired by farshun. Architecture and Interior Designers ACME posted this pic from Kepler London - amazing sleeves and pants like the fan palms we love using at some of our favourite jobs like Jardan.

  1. Cecilia Fox

Well, basically I just love Melbourne based florist Cecilia Fox, and I love this photo.

  1. Skinny Wolf

I love seeing what Melbourne based Katie Marx florist Skinny Wolf does each week at The Prince Hotel in St Kilda! Always inspiring our weekly arrangements.

  1. Flora Starkey

Westhill Farm, which grows flowers for amazing London based florist Flora Starkey.

  1. Erdem

Erdem's amazing new Autumn/Winter '19 range at The National Portrait Gallery. Look at those beautiful wintry colours together. We only have 1 day left of winter, but inspiring us for winter next year!!
