Thought we'd kick off the weekend with a bit of Insta inspo! Here are ten posts from the gram that have given us huge inspiration at Floreat this week, written by Beth.
Hats off to The Design Files for pointing out the artistry in floristry, and huge props to the featured florists who all mentioned the importance of a more sustainable future for floristry, something we work hard at bringing into our own work at Floreat.
2. VOGUE ITALIA
How good is this cover of Vogue Italia?! I am very partial to a 90s chic flower arrangement. #noflowerdiscrimation
Hattie Molloy, you can literally do no wrong in my eyes. Obsessed with this work of art she created for the Lee Matthews runway at Melbourne Fashion Week and I am well on board with the return of the gerb.
Nepotism this may be, but how incredibly talented is my cousin Elena M Elias? I've not seen jewellery like it before and I'm so inspired by the thoughtfulness and story behind the design, something I'd like to do more of with flowers. She's exhibiting soon at Comber Street Studios in Sydney.

Georgia has absolutely nailed simple design once again with this Ikebana bowl arrangement. We've been using our Cooper & Clay bowls like this one a lot lately for corporate events, so I'm excited to stick a Kenzan in it and try a more minimal design like this one.
My new favourite Insta page. I'm just gonna leave these pics of 1989 Keanu frolicking in a field here. Also - can you believe he turned 55 this week?!
I thought we did well buying mostly locally grown flowers at Floreat but our friends in the Northern Hemisphere have outdone us with this bouquet made only with flowers from their cutting garden! It doesn't get more sustainable than that.
These flowers made to grace the stage of Florence Welch are magic, as is everything Brittany from BRRCH makes.
Can I please have one of these Kangan Institute student collection jackets for the freezing market mornings? #sponsorme #influencer

This weird and wonderful convertible arrangement by Gunnar Floral is defintiely riding in style. Also, blue and yellow combo's seem to be happening right now - maybe inspo for an upcoming Monday corporate arrangement for Floreat Floral? Let's see.
Have a great weekend!
